Your Moroccan adventure begins in vibrant Casablanca. Upon arrival at Mohammed V Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Soon after, we’ll visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, a stunning masterpiece on the Atlantic coast. Later, you are free to enjoy the evening. We suggest a stroll along the scenic Corniche or a visit to the classic Rick’s Café to rest for the journey ahead.
Today, we depart for Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital. Once there, you’ll explore its royal history, starting with the iconic Hassan Tower. We will also visit the tranquil Chellah necropolis and the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas, which offers commanding ocean views. Later, our journey continues north into the stunning Rif Mountains. Our destination is Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue Pearl,” where you can get lost in a captivating maze of azure alleyways.
Savor a final morning in Chefchaouen, perhaps with an optional sunrise hike to the Spanish Mosque for breathtaking views. We then travel through rolling hills to Volubilis, where you’ll step back two millennia to explore Morocco’s most impressive Roman ruins. A short drive takes us to the imperial city of Meknes to admire the monumental Bab Mansour gate before we arrive in Fes, the spiritual and cultural epicenter of Morocco.
Prepare for a full-day immersion into the heart of Fes’s ancient, UNESCO-listed medina. With a local expert as your guide, you’ll navigate the labyrinthine streets to discover its secrets. First, you will visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest in the world. Then, you’ll see the iconic Chouara Tanneries and the stunning Bou Inania Madrasa. To complete the tour, you will also explore the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah) and the grand gates of the Royal Palace.
Today marks a dramatic shift in landscape as we journey south. Our route takes us across the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop first in Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland.” Next, we’ll visit the Cedar Forest, home to wild Barbary macaques. As we descend through the lush Ziz Valley, the scenery transforms into a desert oasis.
Your adventure culminates upon arrival in Merzouga. Here, you will embark on a sunset camel trek into the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. Your destination is a luxury desert camp. You’ll spend an unforgettable night under a sky full of stars. The evening includes local Berber music and warm hospitality.
Wake to the unforgettable sight of a Saharan sunrise. After breakfast, our first stop is the historic town of Rissani. This was once an ancient caravan hub. From there, the journey continues to the spectacular Todra Gorge. You can walk between its 300-meter-high canyon walls. We will then travel onward to the Dades Valley. This region is famed for its dramatic kasbahs. You’ll also see its surreal “Monkey Fingers” rock formations.
Today, we travel the legendary “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Our main stop is the magnificent Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. It is a famous UNESCO World Heritage site. This fortress is also an iconic film location. After exploring, we will make a brief stop in Ouarzazate. Then, we begin our ascent into the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. Our route crosses the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260m. Finally, we descend into the vibrant and electric city of Marrakech.
Plunge into the vibrant heart of Marrakech, the “Red City.” Your guided tour will reveal its most famous landmarks. First, you’ll experience the pulsating Jemaa el-Fnaa square, with its storytellers and snake charmers. Next, you will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the lavish Bahia Palace, and the historic Saadian Tombs. In the afternoon, find a peaceful escape at the cobalt-blue Majorelle Garden. Then, your evening is free to explore the endless souks at your own pace.
Enjoy a final leisurely morning in Marrakech for some last-minute souvenir shopping or to revisit a favorite café. In the afternoon, we will make the comfortable drive back to Casablanca. Tonight, we’ll gather for a farewell dinner to reflect on the incredible sights and experiences of our journey together.
After a final Moroccan breakfast, you will be transferred to Mohammed V Airport for your flight home, departing with a lifetime of memories from your magical Moroccan adventure.
