As the golden dunes of the Sahara rise to meet us, you’ll begin an iconic camel trek into the Erg Chebbi for an unforgettable night in a Berber desert camp under a sea of stars.
Greet the day with a sunrise that sets the Sahara ablaze with color. After returning from your camp, we visit the authentic local market in Rissani before heading toward the magnificent Todra Gorge. Today we travel the fabled “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Our highlight is the spectacular Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village and living movie set recognized by UNESCO. After exploring this iconic ksar, we begin the dramatic mountain crossing over the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, descending into the vibrant chaos of Marrakech by evening.
