Our adventure begins as we depart Fes and journey south, climbing into the Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll travel through fragrant cedar forests, home to spirited Barbary macaques, before stopping for lunch in Midelt. The landscape then transforms dramatically as we descend into the breathtaking Ziz Valley. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will trade your vehicle for a camel and embark on a memorable trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets over the desert, you’ll arrive at your traditional Berber camp. Enjoy a delicious dinner under a blanket of stars, accompanied by the rhythm of local drums.
Wake before dawn to witness a magical sunrise over the silent dunes—a truly unforgettable moment. After breakfast at the camp, you will camel trek back to Merzouga to meet your driver. Our journey continues to the towering Todra Gorge, a majestic canyon with cliffs soaring 300 meters high. You’ll have time for a memorable walk through its narrowest passage before we travel to the Dades Valley, a region famous for its dramatic red rock formations. We’ll spend the night in a charming guesthouse overlooking this geological wonder.

After breakfast, our final day takes us along the legendary “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs.” We’ll make a photo stop to capture panoramic views of the Dades Valley before continuing to Ouarzazate. Here, you have the option to visit the famous Atlas Film Studios. The highlight of our day is the magnificent Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After exploring the ancient clay fortress, we’ll embark on a breathtaking drive over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260m). Our tour concludes in the evening as we arrive in the vibrant city of Marrakech.
